On Friday, Nov. 10, Rep. Ron Kind will host a Veterans Day Town Hall event in La Crosse and the Viterbo community is invited to attend. The event will give the public the opportunity to hear directly from veterans about the challenges of rejoining civilian life. This will be an open forum for veterans to share their stories and ask any questions they may have. 1 p.m. at American Legion Post 52, 711 6th St South.
The Seven Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium Friday, Nov. 10. The Nutrition and Dietetics department at Viterbo is looking for adults ages 18-65 with a BMI of 24-40 who are interested in weight loss to participate in a free eight-week study to learn if a betaine supplement and no change in diet or exercise help to increase fat loss and muscle mass.
