VITERBO UNIVERSITY TO HOST COULEE REGION SHOW CHOIR CAMP

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center will host the Coulee Region Show Choir Camp Tuesday, July 17–Saturday, July 21.

The camp, for participants in grades 5–9, will focus on what it is like to perform in a show choir. Participants will work with Nancy Allen, associate professor of music, and choreographer Kevin Chase.

“The camp will give those interested in show choir a taste of what it’s like to perform,” Allen said. “For those already in show choir at school, it provides the opportunity to stay active over the summer.”

Participants will rehearse from 1–5 p.m. each day. A free performance will take place on Saturday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. General camp registration is $150 per participant. Participants may opt to take a private voice lesson or piano lesson with a Viterbo music faculty member for an additional $20 per lesson.

The final deadline for registration is Tuesday, July 3.
