SIXTEENTH ANNUAL VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION EVENT AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY APRIL 16 

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Over 30 outstanding students from area high schools will be honored at the 16th Annual Volunteer Recognition Event at 7 p.m. Monday, April 16 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Lobby.

Students from La Crosse Aquinas, La Crosse Central, La Crosse Logan, La Crescent, Holmen, and Onalaska High Schools, and Providence Academy will be recognized. Senior Viterbo student Sarah Lieser, who will be presented with the President’s Award in honor of her outstanding service to the community, will provide remarks on the value of volunteerism.

Students are nominated for recognition by their respective schools as a means to encourage the individual and collaborative efforts of young people who contribute to bettering their communities.
