THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS—LIVE! THE CLIMATE CHALLENGE AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY JAN. 22
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Ronald McDonald Arts for Young America Family Series at Viterbo University will continue with The Magic School Bus—Live! The Climate Challenge at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
The Magic School Bus—Live! The Climate Challenge follows Ms. Frizzle and her students, who are putting on a play about global warming. Needing some facts, they hop on the Magic School Bus that takes the class and the audience on a whirlwind tour. From the arctic to the equator, they see telltale signs of climate change and learn how conservation, recycling, and alternative energy can make a difference.
The Magic School Bus—Live! The Climate Challenge is produced by Maximum Entertainment in association with the Bay Area Children’s Theatre and Oregon Children’s Theatre. Their goal is to bring high quality theatre to family audiences, especially literary adaptations of great children’s books.
This performance is sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for children on the main floor, $13 for adults and $11 for children in the lower balcony, and $11 for adults and $9 for children in the upper balcony. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/fac.
