RESTORE GULU DOCUMENTARY TO SHARE STORY OF UGANDAN ORGANIZATION AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY JAN. 24
LA CROSSE, Wis. – A screening of the documentary Restore Gulu will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the Viterbo University School of Nursing building Collins Auditorium, room 196. The event is free and open to the public.
Restore Gulu tells the story of Watoto, an organization in war-torn Uganda that provides assistance to orphaned children and vulnerable women. The organization seeks to raise a new generation of leaders by providing medical intervention, education, trauma counseling, and spiritual discipleship.
The event is co-sponsored by the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership at Viterbo and the Tri-Campus Student-Parent Organization. It is part of World View Week at Viterbo.
