LA CROSSE, Wis. – Registration is open for DodgeFest, the popular annual community dodgeball tournament at Viterbo University, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 3 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Amie L. Mathy Center.

The tournament field will consist of 24 teams made up of six to eight players per team. Participants must be 18 years old. Team registrations are due Tuesday, Nov. 29 and the cost is $20 per team. For complete details and to register, visit www.viterbo.edu/dodgefest.

DodgeFest is hosted by Viterbo’s department of recreational sports and Western Technical College’s intramural staff. Community members as well as students from Viterbo, Western, and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse are invited to form a team and participate.

This year’s DodgeFest promises to be bigger and better than ever, with great dodgeball action, a variety of other activities, local celebrities, and a raffle with prizes donated by a variety of local businesses. Teams are encouraged to dress in a team theme, and the team determined as “best dressed” by tournament officials will receive a prize.

Proceeds from DodgeFest will benefit the Mathy Center Boys and Girls Club and Place of Grace Catholic Worker House. Participants donating three non-perishable food items to Place of Grace will receive a raffle ticket. Donations to the Mathy Center Boys and Girls Club are also welcome.
