“ANALOG AESTHETICS CONTEMPORARY EXPLORATIONS IN LETTERPRESS” EXHIBIT TO OPEN IN VITERBO UNIVERSITY GALLERY NOV. 2
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The work of artists Sarah McCoy and Bradley Dicharry will be featured in an exhibit entitled “Analog Aesthetics Contemporary Explorations in Letterpress” opening in the Viterbo University Gallery with a reception from 7:30–9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.
McCoy is the owner of The Permanent Collection, a letterpress and design studio that creates custom designs for individuals, corporate clients, and retail clients. She earned a Master of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa. Her work has been published in several publications and has been exhibited in galleries in the U.S. and abroad.
Dicharry is an assistant professor of graphic design at the University of Iowa. He earned a Master of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa. He is also the director of Donate Design, a service learning program that brings together design students and nonprofit organizations in the local community.
Dicharry and McCoy will also present an artist workshop from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Nov. 2 in room 301A of the Fine Arts Center.
“Analog Aesthetics Contemporary Explorations in Letterpress” will run until Friday, Dec. 2. There is no admission fee to the gallery, which is located on the third floor of the Fine Arts Center on campus. The gallery is open from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. when school is in session.
