LA CROSSE, Wis. – Audience members will enjoy exciting classical arrangements, burning jazz standards, and the best of original brass quintet repertoire as the acclaimed Boston Brass performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. 

Boston Brass’ lively performance will include a wide selection of musical styles in a fun and friendly atmosphere, complete with humor and plenty of personality. The group gives 100 solo performances each year, and many more with orchestras, bands, and other ensembles. 

Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, Boston Brass has been featured on The CBS Early Show, National Public Radio’s Performance Today, performed in The Great American Brass Band Festival, and has released several albums. They also helped to raise over $100,000 for VH1’s Save the Music program, which gives musical instruments to schools in need. 

This performance is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season and is sponsored by Holiday Inn and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin. Wisconsin Public Radio is the media sponsor.
