VITERBO UNIVERSITY SPRING COMMENCEMENT MAY 14
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Four hundred forty-three students, 368 undergraduate, 70 graduate, and five associate degree students, will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s spring commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the La Crosse Center.
Barbara Gayle, academic vice president, will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies, and Shamaco Green, a biopsychology major from the Bahamas, will give the student address. Kathleen Duerwachter ’10, director of alumni relations, will give the alumni welcome. Viterbo President Rick Artman will confer the degrees and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Mary Ann Gschwind, FSPA, will provide the congratulatory remarks. Diplomas will be awarded by President Artman and Sr. Gschwind. In a special ceremony, Marcus Saegrove, Ronald Schafer, and Wayne Wojciechowski will be granted the title of Professor Emeritus.
A Baccalaureate Mass will be held that morning at 11 a.m. in Mary of the Angels Chapel at St. Rose Convent. Rev. John Puodziunas, OFM, will preside at the liturgy.
The nursing pinning ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 13 in the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. The BSN Completion program pinning ceremony will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. A ceremony in which master’s degree candidates receive their academic hoods will be held at 9:45 a.m. May 14 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
