JIM WITTER TO PRESENT THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD: THE MUSIC OF LENNON AND MCCARTNEY AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY MARCH 2
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Take a trip down The Long and Winding Road while exploring the lives and music of John Lennon and Paul McCartney as outstanding musician Jim Witter and his band lead their audio and video tour at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Witter, who returns to Viterbo after his highly-acclaimed performance of The Piano Men in 2009, began performing professionally in clubs, piano bars, and anywhere else he could, at the age of 17. He has an impressive stage presence that brings a personal and refreshing touch to his live performances.
The Long and Winding Road features Yesterday, A Hard Day’s Night, Hey Jude, Let it Be, and many more timeless hits.
This performance is co-sponsored by Coulee Bank and Hoppens Realty and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin. It is part of Viterbo’s NexStar season.
