PRESTIGIOUS DANCE COMPANY PILOBOLUS TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY FEB. 10

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Experience movement in its most glorious forms as the prestigious contemporary dance company Pilobolus performs at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

With a mix of acrobatic dexterity, inventive wit, and startling imagery, Pilobolus transforms itself into striking sculptural expressions. 

Started in 1971, Pilobolus quickly became renowned for its imaginative and athletic exploration of creative collaboration.

Pilobolus has appeared in television commercials for Mobil, Toyota, Opel, Seibu, Hyundai, Bloomingdale’s, and General Motors. In February 2007, Pilobolus gave six acclaimed brief performances during the 79th Annual Academy Awards and has also appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Late Show with Conan O’Brien.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season and is sponsored by WKBT Channel 8 and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
