DEER CAMP: THE MUSICAL AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY NOV. 3
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Take four good friends from a small town, mix in plenty of cold beer, lots of songs, and a hunting shack up north, and the only ones safe in the woods are the deer. Audiences will laugh out loud at Deer Camp: The Musical at Viterbo University Tuesday, Nov. 2 and Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Deer Camp: The Musical follows four deer hunters during their annual trip to deer camp. After many years of hunting trips, the guys have yet to bag a single deer, and their wives are getting suspicious. Warned to “come home with something besides a hangover,” this is the season they need to demonstrate that they are the mighty hunters they claim to be. But it’s not easy when the thought of drinking beer in the cabin seems better than freezing in a deer stand. The guys come up with a plan to save their hunting paradise without firing a shot while treating the audience to hilarious songs such as Mighty Hunters, River of Brew, and The Grunt Horn Song.
Deer Camp: The Musical is presented by CMI Entertainment, Inc. This performance is co-sponsored by Borton Construction and the Courtyard by Marriott, and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin. It is part of Viterbo University’s NexStar Season.
Tickets are $32 for main floor, $30 for lower balcony, and $25 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/fac.
