SEWING WITH NANCY HOST NANCY ZIEMAN TO OPEN LEADERSHIP AT NOON SERIES AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY SEPT. 21
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Nancy Zieman, host of public television’s popular series Sewing with Nancy, will open the Leadership at Noon Series at Viterbo University Tuesday, Sept. 21 in room 107 of the D.B. and Marge Reinhart Center.
Sewing with Nancy appears on public television stations across the U.S. and Canada. Zieman is president of Nancy Zieman Productions and founder of Nancy’s Notions®, a division of Tacony Corporation. She produces commercials, streaming video, DVD’s and books. Her most recent books include the Confidence series, which includes Sew with Confidence and Quilt with Confidence. In 1988 she was named Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year by the Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs Association.
The Leadership at Noon Series features business leaders discussing the key values that contribute to successful business practice. Other events in the series are:
- Tuesday, Nov. 30 with Harry, Andrew, Jansen, and Tyler Dahl of Dahl Automotive.
- Tuesday, Jan. 25 with Jerry Molnar, director of the Tomah Veterans Administration Medical Center.
- Tuesday, March 22 with Abbie Leithold-Gerzema and Paul Leithold, owners of Leithold Music.
All events on the schedule will be held from noon–1 p.m. in the Reinhart Center and are free and open to the public. Audience members are welcome to bring their own lunch or purchase a boxed lunch for $5. The Leadership at Noon Series is sponsored by the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership and the Dahl School of Business at Viterbo University.
