LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Blanks will bring an entertaining evening of a cappella music and comedy to the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 16 as part of the university’s NexStar Season.

The Blanks, who describe themselves as “a group of friends who like to sing a cappella music,” have appeared regularly as “Ted’s Band” on the hit television sitcom Scrubs, “where they luckily play a group of friends who like to sing a cappella music.” Riding the Wave, their CD released in 2004, includes every song from their first four seasons on the show.

Consisting of Sam Lloyd (easily recognized as Ted Buckland from Scrubs,) Philip McNiven, George Miserlis, and Paul Perry, The Blanks perform regularly throughout the United States.

This performance is co-sponsored by Gundersen Lutheran and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.

Tickets are $31 for lower balcony and $26 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit
