THE PARKER QUARTET TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY APRIL 11

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University will host the talented musicians of The Parker Quartet Sunday, April 11 at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

The Parker Quartet, consisting of Daniel Chong on violin, La Crosse favorite Karen Kim on violin, Jessica Bodner on viola, and Kee-Hyum Kim on cello, will astound audiences with their music, which is extravagant, yet subtle.

The Parker Quartet has performed at some of America’s most prestigious concert halls and the New York Times described the group as “something extraordinary.” Each member of the group holds multiple graduate degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music, and they spend a great deal of time working with young musicians through educational residency activities.

This performance is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season and his sponsored by WXOW TV-19 and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.

Tickets are $32 for main floor, $30 for lower balcony, and $25 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/fac.
