THE ALUMINUM SHOW AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY MARCH 4
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Bright Star Season will continue at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre with The Aluminum Show.
The Aluminum Show is a unique performance that combines movement, dance, and visual theatre. Through the use of special effects, creative mechanisms, and acrobatic dance, inanimate objects come to life with energy, emotion, and even personality.
The concept for the show has been developed by creator Ilan Azriel, with assistance by fellow Israeli Yuval Kedem, one of his country’s leading design and special effects experts.
“The Aluminum Show was a stunning performance at this year’s Fringe Festival in Edinburgh,” wrote a reviewer for the BBC News in 2008. “It was a Fringe silver foil spectacular.”
This performance is co-sponsored by Coulee Bank and Franciscan Skemp and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
Tickets are $34 for lower balcony and $29 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/fac.
