MILWAUKEE REPERTORY THEATRE TO PRESENT ALMOST, MAINE AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY FEB. 10
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Audiences will get a glimpse into the lives of the residents of a mythical town as they struggle with falling in and out of love in unexpected, unusual, and often hilarious ways as the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre presents Almost, Maine at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
On a cold, clear, moonless Friday night in deepest winter, the northern lights hover over the remote town of Almost, Maine in this acclaimed romantic comedy that explores the mysteries of the human heart, touching audiences with laughter, heartbreak, and hope.
The play is “a whimsical approach to the joy and perils of romance,” wrote a reviewer in the New York Times. “Magical happenings bloom beneath the snow drifts.”
This production is part of Viterbo’s NexStar season and is co-sponsored by Borton Construction and sponsored by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
Tickets are $30 for main floor, $28 for lower balcony, and $23 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/fac.
