JACK AND THE BEANSTALK AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY NOV. 7
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Missoula Children’s Theatre will present Jack and the Beanstalk at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
This production of Jack and the Beanstalk is a new version of the classic story. When a young boy named Jack plants magic beans in his own backyard, it’s the beginning of a great adventure. With a little help from Magic and a vegetarian giant, Jack learns a valuable lesson about true happiness.
Missoula Children’s Theatre provides a week-long residency starring local students in a full-scale musical. The company’s mission is the “development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.”
This performance is the opening event of Viterbo’s Arts for Young America Family Series. It is sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
