VITERBO UNIVERSITY WINTER COMMENCEMENT IS DEC. 17
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Ninety-two undergraduate and three graduate students will receive their diplomas at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10:30 a.m. in Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Wendy Storandt, president of the Faculty Assembly, will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies and Anne Koschmeder, a RN to BSN student from Rochester, Minn., will deliver the senior address. Theresa (Messerschmidt) Smerud, class of ’80, will give the alumni welcome, and Viterbo President Dr. William Medland will confer the degrees. President Medland will also be presented with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree by Sr. MaryAnn Gschwind, president of the Viterbo Board of Trustees.
A Baccalaureate Mass will be held at 9 a.m. that morning in the Maria Angelorum Chapel in the St. Rose Convent. Viterbo’s vice president for Campus Ministry, Father Tom O’Neill, will preside at the liturgy.
