LA CROSSE, Wis. – The world premiere production of the original musical by Stan and Jan Berenstain, Berenstain Bears on Stage! will delight audiences young and old at Viterbo University Sunday, November 13.

Berenstain Bears on Stage! brings to life five of the best-selling books in the Berenstain Bears series, Messy Room, Get in a Fight, Double Dare, New Baby, and Stage Fright. Co-authors Stan and Jan Berenstain began the Berenstain Bears series in 1962, and it is now the best-selling children’s series in history, published in more than 20 countries and in over a dozen languages.

Children and their parents alike will enjoy the Berenstain Bears’ classic charm and wisdom in this musical written for and performed by the Omaha Theatre Company for Young People. The performance is sponsored, in part, by a grant from the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin, Inc.

Performance time is 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. Tickets are $8 for seating in the upper balcony for adults and children. For more information, contact the Viterbo University box office at 608-796-3100
