WINDHAM HILL AMERICA BRINGS MUSIC TO VITERBO NOVEMBER 9
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Windham Hill America brings an evening of American roots music in the folk, jazz, and classical traditions of American composers such as Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, and Stephen Foster to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The members of Windham Hill America bring with them a very impressive musical pedigree. The group consists of songwriter and world-class keyboardist Phillip Aarberg, Grammy nominated pianist and championship fiddle player Barbara Higbie, and leading figure in the field of electronic violins, Tracy Silverman.
The performance is presented by Viterbo University and is co-sponsored by WKBT-TV Channel 8 and is supported, in part, by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the state of Wisconsin.
Performance time is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9. Tickets are $28 for main floor, $26 for lower balcony, and $21 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo University box office at 608-796-3100
