LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Get ready for an evening of mesmerizing imagery as the Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater Company presents an enchanting world of blow-up shapes that shimmer, bounce, and dance their way onto the Viterbo stage Friday, March 18.

Fred Garbo and Daielema Santos present a fast-paced and theatrically clever performance jam packed with audience participation and artistic foolishness that has won the affection of audiences worldwide.

Fred Garbo, made famous by his role on Sesame Street as the acrobat inside Barkley the Dog, has toured Europe, Hong Kong, and Australia for his Obie Award-winning Foolsfire.  Garbo performed in the Broadway musical Barnum and, most recently, appeared on David Letterman's Late Night.

Daielema Santos, of Sao Paulo, Brazil, studied at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and was the principal ballerina with the Opera Paulista II dance company.  From The Nutcracker to The Inflatable Living Project, Daielema's choreography combines world-class artistry and technical brilliance with theatrical humor.

This performance is sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin, Inc.  Performance time is 7 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.  Tickets are $8 for children and $10 for adults.  For more information, contact the Viterbo University Box Office at 608-796-3100.
