VITERBO WELCOMES NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED DANCE COMPANY HUBBARD STREET 2 FEB. 4

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Join in a night of innovative, contemporary dance as Viterbo welcomes the young and powerful dance company Hubbard Street 2 Friday, Feb. 4.
 
Hubbard Street 2 is a vibrant company of six young dancers that perform a repertoire full of excitement and high velocity.  Led by Julie Nakagawa Bottcher, Hubbard Street 2 is a dynamic company incorporating works by some of the nation's most promising choreographers.
 
Hubbard Street 2 performed at a state trade delegation in Johannesburg, South Africa and has since graced the stages of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and New York City's Joyce SoHo.
 
Hubbard Street 2 is sponsored by Marshall Field's and is supported, in part, by the Heartland Arts Fund, a program of Arts Midwest funded by the National Endowment for the Arts with additional contributions from General Mills Foundation, Land O'Lakes Foundation, Sprint Corporation, and a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
 
Performance time is 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.  Tickets are $22.  For more information, contact the Viterbo University Box Office at 608-796-3100
