VISITING PROFESSORS TO GIVE RECITAL AT VITERBO JAN. 16

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Guest artists Salvatore Champagne, tenor and faculty member at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and Howard Lubin, pianist and faculty member at the University of Oklahoma will present Songs Having to Do with Times of the Day and Night Sunday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

The recital will feature songs by Rorem, Mahler, Faure, Brahms, DuParc, Barber, Schubert, Griffes, Wolf, Strauss, Purcell, Vaughan Williams, Reger, and Cornelius.

Champagne and Lubin will also conduct a Masterclass Monday, Jan. 17 from noon-1 p.m. in the Recital Hall. Both events are free and open to the public.
