VITERBO UNIVERSITY PRESENTS HANDEL'S MESSIAH AND YULE FEST 2004, DEC. 4-5
LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Celebrate the holiday season with the Viterbo University Music Department as it presents George Frideric Handel's timeless Christmas classic, Messiah, and Yule Fest 2004, Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 5.
Handel's Messiah examines several parts of the New Testament in a powerful and inspiring musical work that brings the true meaning of Christmas to life.
The second half of the concert, Yule Fest 2004, is a celebration of lighter holiday music featuring the Viterbo choral ensembles, audience sing-a-longs, and harp soloist Sister Malinda Gerke.
Join the Viterbo University Music Department as it celebrates 100 years of music making with performances by the Concert Choir, Women's Chorale, Ninth Street Singers, Platinum Edition, Alumni Chorus, orchestra, and student soloists.
Handel's Messiah and Yule Fest 2004 are sponsored by the La Crosse Tribune and James G. Birnbaum and Ross A. Seymour, Attorneys-At-Law.
