LA CROSSE, Wis.-- The Viterbo University Theatre Department is proud to present the anti-war satire Oh, What a Lovely War Thursday-Saturday Nov. 11-13 and Nov. 18-20.

The Master of Ceremonies leads a colorful cast through a series of entertaining and often touching scenes that never allow the audience to forget that war is no joke while presenting a thought-provoking insight into the futility of war.

After WWI life was never the same and Oh, What a Lovely War brings the biting reality of war to light.

So ‘pack up your troubles’ and take a seat for an exhilarating look at a momentous event in history, featuring “Keep the Home Fires Burning,” “After the Ball is Over,” and 30 other old time favorite songs.

Performance times are Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 11-13 and Nov. 18-20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo La Croix Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $9.  For more information, contact the Viterbo University Box Office at 608-796-3100.
