VITERBO UNIVERSITY PLATINUM EDITION TO PRESENT CELEBRATION 2009 STARTIN’ SOMETHIN’ APRIL 18
LA CROSSE, Wis. – An amazing evening of singing and dancing awaits audience members as Viterbo University’s Platinum Edition show choir and special guests present Celebration 2009 Startin’ Somethin’ at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Celebration 2009 Startin’ Somethin’ will feature performances of Man in the Mirror, a new arrangement of a Michael Jackson song that has African text and musical influences; I Want to be Miss America, seven Platinum Edition women join Apple Annies in a funny battle for the crown; Remember When it Rained, featuring some of the best singing Platinum Edition has ever done; hits from the 1970s and the disco craze, and much more.
Guest performers include Viterbo’s 9th Street Singers, Coulee Kids Choir, singers from show choir programs at La Crosse Central, Logan, and Holmen High Schools, Apple Annies, and the La Crosse Boy Choir.
“Celebration 2009 Startin’ Somethin’ will be a wonderful evening of music and entertainment,” said Nancy Allen, director of Platinum Edition.
