VITERBO WELCOMES BEAUTY AND THE BEAST OCT. 17

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Enchantment Theatre Company presents the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast with awe-inspiring stage illusions, shadow play, masks, and an original music composition by Andy Tierstein on Sunday, Oct. 17 at Viterbo University.

Join Beauty as she embarks upon a journey of compassion and courage to discover the true power of love in a most unlikely place.  Beauty puts aside her fear and conjures the strength to save the Beast with her redemptive love in this mystical story in which fantasy meets humanity.

The Enchantment Theatre Company, based in Pennsylvania, is a not-for-profit group that has been performing for audiences of all ages around the world for over two decades.

Beauty and the Beast is sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin, Inc. and supported, in part, by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.

Performance time is 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.  Tickets are $10 for children and $12 for adults .  For more information, contact the Viterbo University Box Office at 608-796-3100 or visit the Viterbo Web site at www.viterbo.edu.
