BOOKS FOR FUN FAIR AUGUST 19-20 TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CARING, INC.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Books are Fun Book Fair is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20 in the St. Francis Building of Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Lang Conference Room (which can be entered through the bakery.)

Proceeds from the event will go to benefit CARING, Inc., a collaborative project of Viterbo University’s School of Nursing, La Crosse County, and the Salvation Army. CARING, Inc. provides health education, screening, and referrals for the homeless and other clients of the Salvation Army, and provides public health experience for Viterbo’s student nurses.

The book fair will feature thousands of books in more than 12 different categories at prices up to 70 percent off retail. Choose from a selection of children’s books, general interest and reference books, educational books, cookbooks, religious books, sports books, photo albums, stationery, toys, videos, music, executive gifts, regional titles, and much more.
