KIDS’ ENTERTAINMENT TO PRESENT STELLALUNA AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY MARCH 28
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The tale of Stellaluna will be brought to life by Kids’ Entertainment on the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre stage Saturday, March 28.
When baby bat Stellaluna is knocked out of her mother’s nest one night, her whole world is literally turned upside down. Stellaluna is lucky enough to land in a nest of baby birds. The mother bird adopts her, but only on the condition that she act like a bird, not a bat. Anyone who has ever been asked to be someone they’re not will understand the conflicts Stellaluna faces.
Stellaluna is based on a book written by self-taught artist and writer Janell Cannon. This production is part of Viterbo’s Arts for Young America Series and is sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
Performance time is 3 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adult and $5 for child upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or www.viterbo.edu/finearts1.aspx.
