SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE FORUM SET FOR MARCH 25 AT VITERBO

LA CROSSE, Wis -- The Viterbo University and UW-L  schools of education will sponsor a La Crosse school board candidate forum Thursday, March 25 in cooperation with the Association of La Crosse School Administrators.

The forum, which will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m., will convene in Reinhart Center room 127 on the Viterbo campus. The general public as well as university students are invited to attend.

"We consider this to be an excellent opportunity for students at UW-L and Viterbo--particularly those aspiring to be teachers--to learn more about the kinds of issues schools and their operating boards are confronting and the different approaches each can have to solving problems," said John Schroeder, associate professor of Educational Leadership at Viterbo.

The election will be held Tuesday, April 6. Eight candidates are running for four seats.
