BOYS OF THE LOUGH BRING CELTIC MUSIC TO VITERBO MARCH 21
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Boys of the Lough, a band in the proud Celtic tradition, will perform in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21.
The Boys of the Lough have established a reputation for technical brilliance and integrity in their performance of Irish and Scottish music.
Since their first tour in 1967, the band has traveled extensively in their mission to gain traditional music a wider audience and respect. They have made friends from the village halls of their homelands to intercontinental concert and festival stages, and won the respect of fellow musicians on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Boys of the Lough consist of musicians Brendan Begley, Kevin Henderson, Cathal McConnell, Dave Richardson, and Malcolm Stitt.
This performance is co-sponsored by Coulee Bank and James G. Birnbaum Attorney-at-Law and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin. It is part of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season.
Tickets are $28 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or www.viterbo.edu/finearts1.aspx.
