VITERBO’S HUMAN SERVICES CAREER FAIR IS NOV. 13
LA CROSSE, Wis.-The Career Planning and Placement Center at Viterbo University is sponsoring the third annual Human Services Career Fair on Thursday, Nov. 13, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Lobby.
Representatives from 25 non-profit and government agencies will be recruiting students in human service fields. The fair is an excellent opportunity for students of all levels, freshmen to seniors, to communicate with professionals from organizations and agencies in fields relating to their majors including: English, psychology, sociology, foreign languages, religious studies, criminal justice, and liberal studies.
Agencies attending include: Catholic Charities Diocese of La Crosse, Chileda, Community Liaison Program, La Crosse Department of Human Service, Coulee Youth Centers, Inc., Creative Community Living Services, Department of Corrections, Domestic Abuse Reduction Team (DART), Easter Seals Wisconsin Camps, First Call For Help, Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Girl Scouts of Riverland Council, Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA), Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, La Crosse Area Family YMCA, La Crosse County Human Services Department, La Crosse Police Department, Lutheran Social Services, Marine Officer Programs, New Horizons Shelter & Center, School District of Holmen, Sparta Area Family Education Center, State Public Defender’s Office, U.S. Army, and Wisconsin State Patrol Police Corps.
