LA CROSSE, Wis.—Current and future students in Viterbo University’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program and nurses who already have their nursing master’s degree now have additional educational options.

Nurses who currently have a MSN degree but are interested in a career shift can choose to continue their education in one of two post-master’s degree certificate programs: a Nurse Educator program and an Adult Nurse Practitioner program.

In addition, a new MSN track has started this fall. For current and future students in Viterbo’s MSN program, the new track, Nursing Leadership in Healthcare, is for nurses who wish to develop a broad-based foundation to provide leadership in acute care, long-term care, community, or ambulatory settings.

The MSN program continues to offer an Adult Nurse Practitioner track and a Nurse Educator track, both leading to a master’s degree.
