VITERBO THEATRE TO PERFORM TONY AWARD-WINNING MUSICAL COMEDY NO, NO, NANETTE OCT. 10-12
LA CROSSE, Wis.—Step back into the land of the roaring ’20s for some good clean fun as Tony Award-winning musical comedy No, No, Nanette graces the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Main Theatre Friday through Sunday, Oct. 10-12.
This tap-dancing comedy has a series of misunderstandings, marriages about to be broken, and love affairs ending. When Jimmy Smith takes a weekend off of Bible publishing he gets into and out of trouble in New York and Atlantic City. Jimmy and his conservative wife, Sue, decide that their daughter, Nanette, shouldn’t go unchaperoned to their cottage in Atlantic City, so Jimmy takes Nanette to the cottage and runs into some unexpected guests. Not only does his wife show up, but his lawyer, Billy, has invited his three female friends from across the globe.
No, No, Nanette is a Viterbo University Music and Theatre Department production. This event is sponsored by the Lukasek Family Endowment Fund
Show times are 7:30 p.m. for Oct. 10-11 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 12. Tickets are $14/11. For more information contact the Viterbo University Box Office at 608-796-3100
