VITERBO REUNIONS TO BE CELEBRATED AT ALUMNI WEEKEND 2003
LA CROSSE, Wis.— A weekend of reminiscing, reconnecting, and celebration is the goal of Viterbo University’s Alumni Weekend 2003, June 20-21, on the Viterbo campus.
The reunion celebrates the class years of 1993, 1978, 1963, and 1953 and offers a School of Education reunion. It is open to all alumni. Activities include a La Crosse riverboat cruise; song and reflection with Viterbo University President William Medland and Viterbo faculty members Tom Thibodeau, Earl Madary, and Laurien Pieterek, FSPA; a courtyard picnic with food and beverage stands, games, and live music; a silent auction featuring Viterbo memorabilia; campus tours; a storytelling session; Maria Angelorum Chapel tours; and Mass in Maria Angelorum. The weekend culminates with the Celebrate Alumni Banquet, at which the Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented, in the Fine Arts Center lobby at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21.
"The weekend has a ’70s theme and offers something for all ages. It’s a family event at which alumni can relive their college days, show their children where they went to school, and have a lot of fun," said Sally Emerson, director of alumni relations.
The cost for the reunion is $15 for the La Crosse riverboat cruise and $20 for the Alumni Banquet. All other events are free. On-campus housing is available.
