VITERBO UNIVERSITY SPRING COMMENCEMENT IS MAY 11
LA CROSSE, Wis.— Two hundred and sixty-five students are scheduled to receive their undergraduate diplomas and 19 graduate students will receive their diploma at Viterbo University’s Winter Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 11, at 10 a.m. at the La Crosse Center.
This year’s graduation marks the first year Viterbo University will graduate students in its Master of Arts in Servant Leadership program. Twelve students will receive that degree.
Earl Madary, President of the Faculty Assembly, will be the master of ceremonies, while James Hanson, an Bachelor of Science in Chemistry candidate from Belgrade, Mont., will give the senior address. Mary Colleen Walsh, class of 1963, will give the alumni welcome and Dr. William J. Medland, Viterbo University President, will confer the degrees.
A Baccalaureate Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturay, May 10, in the Maria Angelorum Chapel at St. Rose Convent.
Viterbo University is a four-year, co-educational, liberal arts college in La Crosse, Wis. It was founded more than a century ago by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
