STUDENT NAMED PRESIDENT OF VITERBO UNIVERSITY FOR A DAY
LA CROSSE, Wis.-What would it be like to be the president of your university? Senior nursing student John Sheski, from West Bend, will find out this Friday, April 25, when he assumes the role of Viterbo University president…just for a day, however.
Meanwhile the 'real' Viterbo president, Dr. William Medland, has his work cut out for him as part of the swap. He will need to attend Sheski’s Adult Health II class, a challenging course required of all nursing students.
Sheski earn his President for a Day status by receiving the most votes in balloting which was conducted on campus earlier in the semester.
Sheski will take on the responsibilities as president by attending meetings with various department heads, reviewing case studies, checking mail, and responding to correspondence from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
