VITERBO’S PLATINUM EDITION TURNS THE STAGE TO A STREET PARTY
LA CROSSE, Wis.-- Viterbo’s show choir Platinum Edition is turning the stage into a "Street Party" for its annual pops concert on Saturday, April 26.
Held in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m., Platinum Edition’s "Street Party," directed by Viterbo Music Professor Nancy Allen, features songs that include: "Wild, Wild West," " Aquarius," "Rhythm Nation," "Soul Man," and "Crunchy Granola Suite."
A 38-member song and dance group, Platinum Edition will be joined by a variety of guest artists including the Riverfront Singers, Irving Pertzsch Fifth Grade Chorus, Wilma Scheffner, the Viterbo 9th Street Singers, the Viterbo Women’s Chorale, the La Crosse Boy Choir, and River Jacks’ Barbershop Quartet.
Choreographers include Viterbo professors Rod Reiner (dance) and Nancy Allen (music); Viterbo students Luke Kritzeck and Stephanie Urban; and guest choreographers Damon Brown and Andrew Cao.
