NURSING MASTER’S STUDENTS HOLD DIABETES EDUCATION SERIES
LA CROSSE, Wis.—The Viterbo University Masters of Science in Nursing students are holding a Diabetes Health Promotion series on Thursdays, April 3-17, that focuses on teaching others how to learn to live well with diabetes.
Held at 6:30 p.m. at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Medical Center each Thursday, the talks include:
Thursday, April 3
- "Managing Blood Sugar and Cardiovascular Risks," presented by Danielle Fletcher, RN and Laurie Love, RN in the Lang Conference Room
Thursday, April 10
- "Foot and Skin Care," presented by Cammi Jaekel, RN in the Pastoral Care Conference Room
Thursday, April 17
- "Living Well," presented by Pat Formanek, RN in the Lang Conference Room
A Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator will be at every event to answer questions. All events are free and people are encouraged to attend any or all events. RSVPs are encouraged, but not necessary—call 796-3675.
