ABOUT PEOPLE: THEATRE PROFESSOR NAMED TO REGIONAL THEATRE GROUP’S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

LA CROSSE, Wis.—Viterbo University Theatre Professor Rick Walters has been named to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region III Executive Committee.

The committee serves a five-state region and plans, organizes, and promotes an annual regional festival for colleges and universities in Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. As a member of the committee, he will be part of a selection team that sees and responds to other colleges’ and universities’ theatrical productions and determines which will be performed at the annual festival. This regional festival is one of eight throughout the U.S. that determine which productions and artists are invited to be part of the National Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. each spring.
