LA CROSSE, Wis. – Discover what the men are like behind the doors of an ice-fishing shanty in a hilarious production of Guys on Ice by the Milwaukee Rep at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Guys on Ice takes place in northern Wisconsin, the land of frozen toes and wind-blown faces, where Lloyd and Marvin brave the cold to find companionship and good fishing while enjoying the simple luxuries of a faithful fishing pole, a warm snowmobile suit, and plenty of beer as they scramble to protect their beloved “cold ones” from fellow angler Ernie the Moocher.

This production is a newly-expanded, two-act version that adds three new songs and a “Half Time” show. With songs such as, Ode to a Snowmobile Suit and Fish is de Miracle Food, the guys are sure to leave audiences laughing.

Guys on Ice is sponsored by Wipfli, LLP and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.

Tickets are $23 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or
