THE LITTLE MERMAID COMING TO VITERBO UNIVERSITY NOV. 8
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Audiences of all ages will enjoy The Little Mermaid, a musical brought to you by the Missoula Children’s Theatre and starring local students, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre provides a week-long residency “starring” local students in a full-scale musical. Their mission is the “development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.”
Auditions for students grades K–12 will be held Monday, Nov. 3 from 4–6 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. Participants should plan to stay for the entire two hours. Rehearsals will be held after school or evenings the rest of the week.
This new version of The Little Mermaid features lots of music, plot surprises, and humor. Along the way, you’ll meet the Little Mermaid, three sisters, ferocious dragons, and a handsome and resourceful Prince Charming.
This performance is sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota and is part of Viterbo’s Arts for Young America Family Series.
Tickets are $9 for adult and $7 for child main floor seating and $7 for adult and $5 for child lower balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or www.viterbo.edu/finearts1.aspx.
