LA CROSSE, Wis.—Viterbo University has named junior Nick Johnson as Student of the Month for January.

Johnson, a graduate of Onalaska High School, is president of the Viterbo Student Activities Board (SAB) and was nominated for his outstanding leadership and service to the student body and his initiatives with the SAB. His mother and stepfather are Debra (formerly of Onalaska) and Myron White of Lake City, Minn.

The Student of the Month award is sponsored by the Viterbo Students Excelling in Activities and Leadership (SEAL) committee and is designed to recognize outstanding efforts in the area of student life, work study, student organizations, community service, involvement, and leadership.
