THE FOURTEENTH ANNUAL HOMELESSNESS SLEEPOUT
LA CROSSE, Wis.—On Monday, Feb. 12, at 5 p.m., students in the Viterbo University Homelessness course will begin a 14th annual vigil in Assisi Court. Students in the course will spend a night out in the cold from 5 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb 13.
This annual vigil is to remind us that each night in America nearly three million people are without a home and their number is increasing. Students participate in the vigil as part of their preparation for going to Omaha, Neb. at the end of the month to work with homeless people and to serve in three different shelters.
