VITERBO SENIORS DISPLAY THEIR ARTISTIC TALENTS
LA CROSSE, Wis.—The Viterbo University Art Department Gallery will feature the art work of two seniors, Jennifer Olson and Jenny Sawle, from Wednesday, Nov. 29, through Friday, Dec. 15, with an opening reception on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 7:30-9 p.m.
Jennifer Olson will exhibit recent pastel drawings and monotypes that represent ideas explored by two different series. A common thread running through all of the work is human relationships, emotions, and color.
Jenny Sawle will exhibit intaglio and monotype prints along with pen and ink drawings.
Much of Sawle's work is based in human anatomy.
The Nov. 29 reception is free and open to the public. There is no admission charge to the Gallery, which is located on the third floor of the Viterbo Fine Arts Center on the corner of Jackson and Ninth Streets in La Crosse. The Gallery is open during regular school hours or at other times by request.
The Viterbo University Art Department offers degree programs in Studio Arts, Art Education, and Graphic Design.
