VITERBO NAMES STUDENT OF MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER
LA CROSSE, Wis.—Viterbo University freshman Katy Tyler was named the September/October Student of the Month.
Tyler is a member of Viterbo Student Activities Board (SAB) and was nominated for her, "extraordinary motivation . . . in planning a successful SAB event." Her nomination form also stated, "In addition to motivating students, Katy assisted in planning an event never done before and managed a success rate far greater than expected." The event Tyler was instrumental in organizing was an Improv Night for Viterbo University students in October.
Tyler, from Port Edwards, is the daughter of John and Patricia Tyler.
The Student of the Month award is sponsored by the Viterbo Students Excelling in Activities and Leadership (SEAL) committee and is designed to recognize outstanding efforts in the area of student life, work study, student organizations, community service, involvement, and leadership.
