MELROSE NATIVE RECOGNIZED FOR ACHIEVEMENTS IN COLLEGE CHEMISTRY STUDIES

LA CROSSE Wis.—Jenny Zeman, a senior chemistry major from Melrose, was recently named the "Viterbo College Outstanding Chemistry Student" by the La Crosse-Winona Section of the American Chemical Society.

Along with the honor, Zeman received a one-year paid membership in the American Chemical Society (ACS), a framed certificate, and an ACS pin and pen.

The Outstanding Chemistry Student awards are given to students who excel in their chemistry studies and plan a career in chemistry or a closely related field.

Viterbo College is a four-year, co-educational, liberal arts college located in La Crosse. Viterbo was founded more than a century ago by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
