VITERBO GRANTS SCHOLARSHIPS TO IOWA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

LA CROSSE, Wis.--Denver High School senior Monica Beaty recently received two Viterbo University scholarships totaling $6,500.

Beaty received a Viterbo Scholarship of $5,500 and was also granted the Sr. Celestine Cepress Award of $1,000. She plans to attend Viterbo next year and will start her university career with an undeclared major.

Beaty is the daughter of David and Brenda Beaty, Denver, Iowa. Brenda Beaty received her Master of Arts in Education degree from Viterbo in 1994.

Viterbo is a four-year, co-educational, liberal arts university located in La Crosse, Wis.  Viterbo was founded more than a century ago by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
