STUDENT VOICE RECITAL IS MARCH 18

LA CROSSE,Wis—Viterbo Student Brenda Cetera will give a voice recital on Saturday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

The recital, which is free and open to the public, includes songs by Schubert and Paul Bowles as well as a group of French songs.  Also included in the program will be the witch’s aria from the opera "Hansel and Gretel," by the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck and poems of Tennesse Williams set to music. Cetera is a mezzo soprano.

"I wanted to do a recital that exceeds people’s expectations.  I want people to be entertained," said Cetera.
